Jheremiah FigueroaI build whole systems, then keep them running.

Full-stack engineer with 4+ years of production TypeScript. I lead a small dev team's engineering: I review the code, run CI/CD and monitoring for about twenty servers, and still write the hard parts. Outside work I ship realtime, AI and mobile products end to end.

01 / work

Selected builds, from a Rust realtime server to a Flutter game.

Live, in beta, in review or still in development: each badge says which, and when it was last checked. Most repos are private; I'm happy to walk through the code.

Engineering lead for the IT team: I review the team's work, own deployments and operations, and lead development on a multi-tenant enterprise SaaS product.

  • Built and run the team's self-hosted CI/CD and observability platform (Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager on Docker Compose) across ~20 on-prem Linux servers. Manual SSH deploys became one-click parameterised pipelines.
  • Designed per-instance health monitoring that needed zero application changes: HTTP probes plus host metrics, with alert rules for downtime, disk, memory, CPU and slow responses.
  • Technical lead and code reviewer across the team's projects, and lead developer on a multi-tenant enterprise SaaS (Angular, Node/Express, MySQL, Redis/BullMQ job queues, Socket.IO progress).
  • Introduced a stage-gated SDLC (spec → build → SIT → UAT → release → ops) with document templates, a generator, and a gap map across the team's systems.
  • Wrote specs and ran architecture reviews, including a multi-tenant modernisation of a legacy portal and an IT service-management system.
  • Built a local, GPU-accelerated transcription pipeline (faster-whisper on CUDA) so confidential meeting audio never leaves company hardware.

04 / approach

How I work: shipping is only done when it's verified.

The same loop runs at my day job, across about twenty servers, and on every side project.

  1. 01commit
  2. 02review
  3. 03build + test
  4. 04deploy
  5. 05probe
  6. 06alert

Verify reality, not the job status

A green pipeline means the commands ran, not that the system changed. I probe the live endpoint before I call something deployed.

Test the domain logic

The rules that can hurt someone or lose money live in pure, tested code: a training engine, a sync contract, a level solver.

Two-model review

I build with AI agents (Claude and Codex) as implementer and reviewer. I own the architecture, the spec, the review and the verification.

Observable by default

Health endpoints, probes, alerts and backups with a tested restore come before a feature is called done.
